Future-Proof Your Coaching Career in the Age of AI

The coaching market feels tough right now.

And not just because of AI. The market is shifting in many ways.

In our recent webinars on this topic, coaches from around the world shared openly about their experiences of building and sustaining a coaching practice in today’s changing market.

Drawing on those conversations, I’ve brought together a FREE resource which captures some of the key reflections, perspectives, and themes that emerged.

Inside, you'll find:

  • A picture of the current coaching market, as coaches are experiencing it right now – much of which has little to do with AI

  • Reflections on the core differences between the transactional work AI is increasingly able to support, and the transformational work which remains a deeply human experience

  • The human capacities AI cannot offer, which are central to what makes coaching valuable

You’ll also find some thoughts on how to approach a confident conversation with someone who wonders whether an AI tool could do what you do.

How  to stay relevant, credible, and in demand in a market that’s becoming more AI-driven – an 8-page guide based on real conversations with coaches

This guide is based on real conversations with real coaches from around the world.

In July 2026, I hosted two online conversations for experienced coaches on the future of our profession. I had eighteen slides prepared. We used a handful of them.

What happened instead was the coaches in the room described what they're living through right now: platform work drying up, organisations expecting more for the same fee, trying to stand out as a credentialed professional in a saturated, unregulated market.

And AI is arriving in the middle of all of this, alongside a great deal of marketing designed to make you afraid.

This guide is what came out of those two conversations. It isn't a summary of the slides I would have presented. It isn't another warning about being left behind. It's an honest look at what AI tools can and cannot do, and what must remain 100% human when it comes to coaching.

It's designed for established coaches with their own practice, particularly those working at or toward PCC or MCC level.

I don't believe marketing that runs on fear is ethical. "Buy this or AI will replace you" is everywhere in our profession at the moment – and it works, which is the part that saddens me most.

This guide is my attempt at the opposite. Factual. Grounded. Aimed at supporting you to take the next step rooted in your values – rather than someone else's fears.

ICF Level 3 Accredited Coaching Education
ICF Level 3 Accredited Coaching Education

Your evolution from PCC to MCC is much more than a professional development tick box: it’s about deepening your presence, trusting your intuition, and nurturing your unique and incomparable coaching style.

On our ICF Level 3 accredited course, you’ll move from knowing how to be a coach to embodying coaching – feeling confident and grounded, transforming coaching techniques into authentic self-expression, and finding ease and freedom within the container of your experience and expertise.

By the end of the program, you will have developed an exceptional level of awareness of yourself as a coach, your unique coaching style, and the strengths you bring to your practice. You will have a clear understanding of what MCC-level coaching looks like, where you currently are in relation to that standard, and what – if anything – you still need to develop before submitting for your MCC credential.

And your journey doesn’t simply end when the program does. If you are not yet ready to submit, we will continue to support you on the road to MCC through regular check-ins and ongoing opportunities for mentoring, supervision and connection.
